Here at the Locoshed we are more than happy to undertake repairs on any model railway items, starting from £15 per model (excluding parts).

If you are sending anything to us via the Post there will also be a returned Postage fee and VAT at 20% to pay on the card sale. 

We only have a small team so please ring ahead or email us with a enquiry so that you can get an accurate quote as we may not have time to go through walk in repair requests.

We are a high Street shop not a repair centre and priority always  lies with customers who are in the shop and who have purchased their models from us in the past. 

We are inundated with repairs bought from ebay or Auction centres, these will always be dealt with as and when we can .

When bringing in any model please make sure you attach your full contact details, including a phone number, along with the issues you are having and stick it to the item in question.

The average turnaround time is 4 weeks but we cannot always guarantee this depending on the availability of parts etc. Some parts are getting increasingly hard to find and can take many months and man hours to source, so check with us first before turning up with anything.

Fixed price servicing is £15 per model for OO Models (N gauge and O Gauge could be a lot more) plus the cost of any parts needed. Hornby Dublo and Wrenn Models could be quite a bit more as in most cases they will need re-magnetising after a service check with us first all work done by a 3rd party which we will have to send away.
