Preowned, in great condition. A fine runner when tested, this is an earlier DCC sound model from Hornby – not to be confused with the TTS type – and is fitted with a proper ESU V4 chip; very good sound quality, loud too.

Mostly complete and undamaged; the model had some buffer beam detail added from the detail pack. The all important horns are intact however, as are the sprung metal buffers. The wheels are all metal and all provide drive / pick up. Couplings are NEM pockets with the tension locks themselves provided in the box. The chip and socket are 8 pin.

Box is in fair shape for the age with plenty of corner wear. Sound nstructions are present, and some accessory parts taped to the polystyrene.
