Brand new from Bachmann and a very nice model indeed. Newly tooled and a very nice runner with directional lighting and a myriad of seperate details; it really does look ‘right’ in shape and such when inspected closely.

Complete and undamaged as brand new stock should be. All wheels driven and picking up, very well geared for slow and smooth starting and stopping. The couplings are NEM and the locomotive is DCC ready with a PLUX22 socket. Buffers are metal and sprung.

Sound chip is up to date V5 type; very clear quality with plenty of functions – number 2 is likely the brake rather than the horn on this example.

Box is Bachmann standard type for locos; nice and chunky card tray with folding block of ice plastic insert. Generous accessory pack enclosed along with the relevant paperwork.
