A lovely collectable train pack produced in 1982 to celebrate a 150 years of the Liverpool to Manchester Railway , The Rainhill trials

Made in Margate England.  Era Period 1

A superb  and iconic train still very much loved by modellers all over the World.

This is in great condition for its age, clean and tidy with no damage to mention, would make a great Christmas gift for someone.

All painted in this very smart yellow lined out paint scheme, which is clean, bright and unmarked.

The loco runs well but its a tiny motor and only just comfortably pulls the 3 coaches, will need to be used sparingly and not at full speed or the motor in time will burn out, with gentle use should last many years.

As this is the Made in England version it is NOT DCC ready and to try and fit a chip to this would be very difficult indeed.

Comes in its original 1982 box which is in good condition for its age, but showing some signs of scuffing and fraying to the outer edges in places along with a small finger hole  in the spine (please see photos). Which we have repaired with sellotape.

Also comes with instruction sheet.
